Brimstone
(updated 11-8-6) | Brimstone is an enigma, even to his mutant heritage. Little is actually known about this creature, and most of that is through the rumor mill. In his pre-cyborg days, he was known as Sachell. He is related to the chaotic mutant Aurora, but how is confusing. Some think he is her brother. Other’s think he is a son. Either way, he is loyal to his people, carefully watching over them. He does have an ability, to read and somewhat influence people’s emotions, which he uses very subtly. He did have the shape-changing gene as well, able to shift into a furry dragon form (palomino markings) but not many can testify if he still has this ability. It is assumed that the Militants were the ones that changed him into a cyborg; but he will not confirm nor deny this. His current girlfriend, Meli; changed him again, removing his mechanical parts. Then a chance encounter with Junior, Megan's son, melted much of his face and chest with a toxic acid that his mutant healing factor found difficult to combat. Once healed, he stumbled across another change. In a battle focused around the sphere bearers, he found himself bonded to the Orb of Time. Unfortunately, it was not correctly bound to him and he found his mind and body changing shape; from a calico kangaroo, to a guinea pig, to a blond fairy, to a black cube. Only when this was stripped from him by Uryll, his neice, did he have any sense of balance, though the event left him extremely weak. Unlike most of his kin that have traveled to Rydin, he seems to have kept his mind, his body, and his emotions in check. | |
There is another talent he possess, but it is not mutant grown. It is a bonified curse, and such an inane one that he rarely invokes it. Whenever he says “Ickity ackity oop,” something happens. He has no control, nor any idea, what will happen, but most occurrences are on a grand scale, changing forest to desert, making the sun disappear, turning his whole body pink and purple pokadotted. Needless to say, the event-changing power is so great that he only uses this curse as a last resort. |
